New Golf Links for Pictou County
Well I think I added all of the golf courses in Pictou County. I would still like to add some more golf course links to the directory. Such as any courses in PEI, Colchester and Antigonish.
I finally solved the Logo problem I was having for the directory. It’s a temporary solution but it’s good enough for now. I used an online gif generator. I hope to make a better logo soon. But I think I will wait. I have more pressing matters to attend to.
I still need to populate the links page (directory). And since it’s so new I’m only getting minimal traffic. That means that I have to add all of the links manually. Also I have decided to add a Search Engine to my portfolio of sites. It will look similar to this site called FoolFind.
This is definitely my favorite search engine and I would like to be able to provide Pictou County with relevant web searches. I hate looking for something and having to surf through thousands of results to find what I want. With FoolFind as with my future search engine you normally get what you are looking for in the first 10 results. It’s all about making the web smaller.
So stay tuned for the upcoming Pictou County Search Engine. It should be on the go within two weeks. I have to get the hosting ready and reserve a domain. Can’t wait!
