3. Gold Membership -Top Level Listing (your listing appears above all others) in the PictouCountySearch.com directory that includes: Listing under the category of your choice. We’ll even create a category or subcategory especially for you if we need to. Link to your website (if you have one) Your Business Address, Phone and/or Fax Number An E-mail Link Description of your Business (in your own words) Map Link (Straight to your Business) Your own Business Showcase Page, which you can update instantly right through your web browser. Here you can have up to Three Internet Coupons (which also appear on our coupon pages) and also advertise any Special Sales or News that you may want to advertise. Any items you sell in The Marketplace (see below) will also appear here, it’s just like an online storefront. Unlimited access to “The Marketplace”, where you can sell as many products or services (with pictures) as you’d like online at no extra charge! You can place any products you sell or services you offer in the Marketplace…..it’s a great way to show off your products/services. Post Unlimited Job Listings – For no additional charge you can post help wanted ads in our job listings section.

And those are just the benefits of being a member.  Bronze, Silver and Gold Members also get the additional benefit of a free or sponsored listing at PictouCountyLinks.com depending on what type of listing they have with PictouCountySearch.com.  These two sites in combination are a great way to increase local exposure for your business whether you have a website or not.

For small businesses that don’t have a website this is a very excellent alternative.  With a Gold Membership you get a Showcase page that virtually takes the place of a website.  The newest Gold Member at PictouCountySearch.com is Immunotec Research Ltd.  I guess that makes Immunotec todays featured listing: Immunotec’s Showcase Page , Immunotec’s Sponsored Listing and Immunotec’s Regular Listing.

Also interesting to note if you are looking to increase the exposure of your business in Pictou County, Pictou County Search.com and Pictou County Links.com have Alexa rankings of 704,174 and 838,988.  That’s two local sites in the top one million sites as ranked by Alexa.  Try to find a better ranked local site to advertise your business or classified.  If you do let me know.
