Well I’ve been busy (at least by my standards) so I haven’t blogged in a while. I have missed a few opportunities to blog about stuff. Anyway I’m back to my blog again with something really cool for you to check out. It’s called Squidoo. It’s very new to me so I can’t tell you much about it, but I can show you what I’ve done with it. I made two sites with squidoo, one about Pictou County websites and one about poker. Check them out and make your own cool sites. Squidoo calls them lenses.

Pictou County Search.com used to be the number one online free classifieds site for Pictou County. Well the very popular EClassifieds that was hosted at that domain is back. It is now Pictou County Search.biz and it is new and improved. It looks very similar to the old site and hopefully all the former users will return. It is very user friendly and has a bunch of new features.
So if you are a former user of the classifieds I hope to see you posting new ads again soon. And I hope you will invite your friends to check out this new, old site. I am very excited to have this site back online. Unfortunately, it may be the demise of the current local portal that is hosted at Pictou County Search.com. That site didn’t quite turn out the way I wanted it to. The site looks great but it’s not quite as user friendly as I would like. Also the classifieds is not quite as good as I would like. So the Pictou County Portal may disappear in the next few weeks to months. If that’s the case and you enjoyed the site, I’m sorry.
